| Nah it's not staged. The guys in the background laughing and whatnot are most likely about to graduate, because post-crucible, you are given all your junk back. Your phones and all the "contraband" that you weren't allowed to have in basic. And the DIs had probably found a new guy (the shoes and glow strap are signs of new meat) and thought it would be funny to have a smoke session recorded. They are actually some pretty cool cats once you are past the recruit stage.
The only thing that seemed a bit staged to me was the "company first seargent" He was a little giggly to be that high up in the ranks. | |

| haha nah, that's a general DI trait. Some Senior DIs will make their DIs go bald, but it's not a requirement | |
