+ good use of comedy in an actually pretty serious film...not really for kids
+ great action sequences
+ Depp provides appropriate voice acting
+ not in 3-D! Yay for a great animated film that isn't 3-D!!!
- kind of slow to get into the plot...which isn't very interesting either, but still manages to grab our interest with comedic lines, action and cast of characters!
- predictable....but fun!
Overall, see it in theatres if you can. If you can't, definitely watch it in the future.
