Recent movies

Well, I work at a movie theatre now, so I just want to list some movies that I saw recently.

The Blind Side: B+
I really enjoyed this film and how it showed our false stereotypes of Black people (well...some of them). It's based on a true story, so that's good. It's a touching movie and if you want a review, search it up. Sandra Bullock had an unusual role (compared to what she usually does/did), but it worked out really well because she had a great performance.

The Road: B
This is also a very touching story between a father and son. It tells the story of what happens after a world catastrophe (we don't quite know wtf happened though). Very, very touching.

Precious: B-
The movie is actually a lot better than I rated it, but it doesn't really apply very effectively to people who have not experienced fucked up lives like Precious has in this movie. It does teach you how harsh a life can be and how fortunate we are to grow up in our families.

Definitely go see The Road and The Blindside.

Hmm don't think these movies are out yet over here, I went to see that twilight new moon with a few mates and girl mate. The action was pretty good at times but some parts were so gay and cheesy. I want to see 2012 if you have heard of that.

Ew...New Moon...

Anyway, 2012 is OK...I wouldn't waste $10 on it though. I give it a C for repetitiveness and boredom after 2 and a half hours.

New moon is awesome only because that one guys is pretty much shirtless the whole movie. I didn't care for the story tho and i have read the books a while back. When i saw the blind side, i was crying hella in the begining and at the end too.

Also, I saw Brothers and I really liked it. Reminds me of that Pearl Harbour movie though.
